Dr. Vasudevan P N is currently working as head of Thangam Institute of Orth Surgery, Trauma & Ilizarov, Palakkad, Kerala. He completed his MBBS & D Orth from Calicut Medical College and MS from Kilpauk Medical College. He got his Dip.NB & Membership in NAMS before MS. He is also the current President of Kerala Orthopaedic Association 2014.

Awards and Recognition:

• Received the prestigious Prof: K.V. Surendran Memorial Gold Medal for the best paper at the Annual meeting of Kerala Orthopaedic Association held Kottayam, 1996.
• Best paper award at Orthocon, 1996
• Gold medal for the best poster at Annual meeting of Kerala Orthopaedic Association held at Perinthalmanna 2009.
• Gold medal for the best poster at Annual meeting of Tamilnadu Orthopaedic Association held at Coimbatore 2009.
• Gold medal for the best paper at Current concepts in Trauma 2014, Ernakulam.

Lectures and Orations:

• Got invited to perform demonstration surgeries in Ilizarov Technology at Calicut Medical College, (3 times), Trichur Medical College and Royapettah hospital, Kilpauk Medical College.
• Given an Invited Lecture on ‘Ilizarov Indian Experience’ in 2004 May, during ‘Bristol Orthopaedic Postgraduate program’ at University of Bristol, Bristol, UK.
• Delivered Prof: PA Alexander Memorial Oration at ARTHROCON 09 held at Calicut by Calicut Orthopaedic Alumni Association.
• Delivered Silver Jubilee Oration of KOA 2013 Kumarakam.
