Dr. Sharan Shivaraj Patil is the Founder, Chairman and Chief Orthopedic Surgeon, SPARSH Hospital, Bangalore. Prior to founding of the SPARSH Hospital, he had been associated with hospitals in UK as Senior Registrar in orthopaedic surgery.

Under his stewardship and within the short time span of just over five years, over 20,000 major surgeries have been performed on the lower-middle and middle class strata of society. Super specialty of every branch of Orthopaedics, Plastic and Maxillofacial surgery has been developed with lead surgeons and teams for each of the specialties.

He has also served as a Professor at Rajiv Gandhi University of Medical Sciences, Bangalore and as a Faculty for Diploma for National Board of examinations for Orthopedics.

For his relentless pursuit of delivering quality healthcare, has been awarded with:

He runs various social initiatives for children, teacher community, accident victims through SPARSH foundation.

He completed his MBBS from MR Medical College, Gulbarga and Master of Surgery from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal. He then secured Mch in Orthopedics from University of Liverpool, UK and FRCS from Royal College of Surgeons England.
