Dr. Neeraj Nagpal is a Gastroenterologist and presently the Director and Chief Endoscopist at Hope Gastrointestinal Diagnostic Clinic, Chandigarh and Convenor of Medicolegal Action Group. He was also the Ex-President of IMA, Chandigarh.

He is a member of the Editorial Board of The Journal of Cutaneous & Aesthetic Surgery. He has also been an editor of a book titled ‘Compendium of CPA Medical Judgments Vol I 1995 and Vol II 2004’.

He holds the membership of following societies:

• Indian Society of Gastroenterology (ISG) 
• Indian Association for study of Liver (INASL) 
• European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ESGE)
• American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE) 
• Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy of India (SGEI)

He has made over 50 presentations nationally and has also delivered scientific talks and invited lectures in national seminars. He is also an author of two publications in national and international journal. He holds MBBS, MD and FIMSA degrees.

He has been the backbone of Medico Legal Actions Group (MLAG), a non-profit trust registered at Chandigarh by a group of allopathic doctors from all over the country who wish to legally engage the Govt. of India regarding its various policies concerning medical profession, training, working conditions.
