Dr. Brij Bhushan Agarwal is a Senior Consultant Laparoscopic Surgeon and Vice Chairman, Senior Consultant & Professor, Department of Laparoscopic and General Surgery at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi. He is also the Senior Consultant Laparoscopic Surgeon at Dr. Agarwal's Surgery & Yoga, New Delhi.

He is first Laparoscopic Surgeon in the world to have successfully developed the technique for Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy without using any electricity or energy.

He has 22 years of experience in Independent Laparoscopic Surgery and a certified teacher for medical students in India and London having taught for last 20 years. In recognition of his surgical expertise, he was posted with the Prime Minister of India, Shri. Rajiv Gandhi as an emergency surgeon. He have received many awards, such as Trophy for being the best resident Surgeon (1987), Samaj Rattan Award, Rashtriya Rattan Award, Gold medal in Yoga etc., apart from being the guest faculty in many National & International Medical conferences.
